Back to Basic Me began with a simple idea: bring the warm, inviting glow of the slide-in lightboxes seen in restaurants and retail spaces into home decor. We wanted to make that distinctive illuminated look something people could enjoy in their own spaces.
Based in Los Angeles, California, we offer framed artwork designed to light up the printed image from behind. Each design is printed on backlit film and displayed inside a slim frame with integrated LED lighting and a tempered-glass front.
We focus on artwork that adds atmosphere and a sense of depth to a room—whether it suggests a window view, a city scene, or another visual escape. Each piece is prepared for display and shipped from Los Angeles.
